Decided to write a blog, I've been meaning to for some time and finally got around to it on a dreary dark sunday, to give you updates on what has been happening with Rather Lather, new products, information you might find useful and other random ramblings of life.

So whats new? Rather Java! Our new coffee scrub soap finally launched this month. We made it a while ago but it takes time to get the packaging designed, printed and paid for as well as the CPSR certifications which are a costly but essential legal requirement to sell the soaps. SO it's here and we LOVE IT! SLS free, natural, paraben and palm free. It's made by marinating oil with ground coffee which is supplied to us locally from North Star coffee! We then marinate for a few weeks so we get a really fragrant oil. We use freshly brewed coffee in the soap, combined with the oils and rich cocoa butter. The grounds of coffee give you a gorgeous exfolitation, literally your skin feels so smooth after using it. Definitely a good one if you're skin is in need of a deep body scrub to get rid of dead skin cells and leave it feeling smooth. This is the best exfoliation product i've ever used, definitely too abrasive for face though!

This week we've worked on a collaboration with Doe & Fawn coffee roasters, so we're packing those up ready to get them shipped out. We're also crazy soap making in preparation for Christmas, lots of Christmas markets coming up which we will keep you posted on where and when they are.
